Dry waste handling – Evac’s newest product area Evac acquired Norsk Inova AS in March 2007. Norsk Inova is specialized in waste treatment systems preserving sea, land and air. Norsk Inova is the major manufacturer and vendor of complete waste handling and treatment systems for cruise ship applications. The company supplies technical solutions and services to the new buildings and the ships in operation. It installed the world’s first three-deck incinerator system onboard SS Norway as early as in 1979. Six years later it installed the first integrated incinerator/food waste/recycling system onboard MS Sovereign of the Seas. Since then it has been continuously working on the waste treatment equipment.
